Sally Meadows is aware of this, but not the latest . . . I want to let your membership know that my new book: “Sixty-Six Hours to Manila, Survival and Liberation at Santo Tomas, 1942–1945”, will be formally released on 3 March 2026 by Texas A&M University Press:
It is also available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other sites, and will be on many “brick and mortar” store shelves. I go into far more detail on the army/USMC operation to liberate the camp than any other writer has done, using official records, not repeating often inaccurate sources, and correcting errors found in major histories of the period. I also address rumors of massacre, the food situation in MNL and in the camp, and the allegations that 100K Filipinos died during the fight for the city.
Please let your membership know they’re free to contact me thru my website (above) or personal email. Thanks!
